About me
I am Emmanuel Pierre, born on September 23, 1988 in Gonaïves, Haiti. The world knows me as Epchantre, the Christian monitor — a stage name that embodies my life mission: to sing for God, carry the Gospel, and touch hearts.
My story
The roots of my musical calling
Coming from a Christian family, music has always been a pillar of my daily life. In our home, we prayed, we sang, we praised. My sisters and brothers harmonized different styles, and together we even turned our school lessons into melodies to help us remember them. It was in this spiritual and musical environment that I was shaped.
The beginnings of a worship leader
Around the age of 10, I began composing. A Thanksgiving evening in the early 2000s was my baptism by fire: I sang in public for the first time, performing "Mwen konnen li vivan", the Creole version of the classic "Because He Lives". Since then, music has become my language. I honed my talents in the Nouvelle Vie choir for 14 years, and later at the Deevine music school in Montreal, where I was mentored by vocal coach Lorviéna Daphnée Louis. This guidance helped me structure my voice and artistic vision.
An evangelical and grounded style
My musical world is rooted in gospel and pop-rock. What drives me is the desire to evangelize in a different way. Through my lyrics and my voice, I want to share my journey in faith, encourage those who are suffering, and offer paths of hope for navigating the storms of everyday life.
A faith-guided ministry
My musical ministry officially took flight in 2018, when I began sharing short videos on social media. On August 8, 2020, I released my first EP titled "Je déclare", followed by "Couronné" on April 16, 2022, and a powerful single, "Créateur des cieux". I participated in several recitals with the Deevine school, sang at weddings, concerts with the Nouvelle Vie choir, and regularly in praise services at Église Baptiste du Lac St-Louis.
Challenges, growth and maturity
The COVID-19 pandemic paused several of my projects, but it was a time of reflection and deepening. This journey led me to a major new milestone: the release of my two landmark singles, "Tu es vie" (in January 2026) and "Tetelestai", which reflect an ever-more mature songwriting and musical production. That same year, I had the joy of joining the NV Worship team, further solidifying my commitment to the praise ministry.
A missionary and entrepreneurial vision
Music is for me a powerful bond with others. I want to proclaim the love and return of Christ, encourage an active faith, and share a Christ-centred Gospel. My goal remains to become an international worship leader, to evangelize through travel, and to connect my art with humanitarian work, particularly through the Toussaint Foundation.
The future in harmony
With my musical catalogue expanding, I am actively preparing a Creole medley to celebrate the moments that spark praise from a worshipper's heart toward the Lord, as well as a live session before the end of this summer. My dream remains to explore, share the Gospel, and lead God's people on stages across Canada, the United States, Haiti, France, Madagascar, the Caribbean, and perhaps the entire world — while taking on the challenge of composing in at least three languages in the coming years.
Inspired and destined
I continue my journey with faith, passion and discipline. My story keeps being written through the projects God has placed in my life, and every note, every word, every stage adds a new chapter to this song of life dedicated to the One who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power at work within us. To Him who called me to serve through music, be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen!
